Appointments

Appointment records are self explanatory. They may seem simple, but they are very useful for one big reason. Namely that most of us forget everything that we want to ask the doctor during our visit. Entering appointment records is important because we can enter questions and notes about the visit. Entered on the Mac they are available for you on your iPhone or your iPad when you are in the doctor's office.

The Make Matching Record button is used to create a record of the appointment itself, when it is taking place. It's important to keep separate records of appointments and the actual visit with the doctor.

In the checkup record you will record your own notes, the doctors comments and most importantly, the doctors instructions. Research shows that many people quickly forget exactly what the doctors instructions were, especially when dealing with complex problems or multiple issues. When you enter appointment and matching records on the app, everything you enter will be available on the match iPhone and iPad apps (free apps). So you don't have to take your laptop with you to the doctors office. You can type or dictate the doctor's comments and instructions into the phone or iPad and the information will be available on your Mac. Both the iPhone and iPad apps access the same database that you create with the Mac app.
